Glowball Golf 2022!

Date: Friday, November 11
Time: 6:00-11:00 p.m. (or earlier)

6:00 p.m.: Pizza and drinks served in the restaurant
7:00 p.m.: Head out to respective golf holes and tee off

Location: McInnis Golf Course, 350 Smith Ranch Rd, San Rafael
Tickets: $100 per person includes dinner and glow-stuff

The first fifteen people to buy tickets will receive a free Dads Club koozie.

Golf. At night. With glow-in-the-dark balls and pins. Yes, it’s absurd, and yes, it’s a blast. No actual golf skill is required. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and a source of endless tall tales. Let’s make it count!

We need AT LEAST 40 players to make this an event that will be charitable to the school. Feel free to invite family and friends that may or may not have Sun Valley ties. Non-golfers are more than welcome to attend.

September 1 Kickoff Meeting!

Thursday, September 1, 7:30 p.m.

Bring a friend! “Meetings” start at 7:30 p.m. and are always just 45 minutes. Before and after the meeting, we usually enjoy a pint or two and socialize together.

For this kickoff meeting, we’ll discuss:

What is the Sun Valley Dads Club (SVDC)?
How you can get involved and participate
Upcoming SVDC events for the 2022-2023 school year
School improvement projects (we have a decent list this year, and we have discussed with school leadership as how to tackle)
Glowball Golf! Tickets are available!

Back to School Picnic This Friday, August 19

Join us for a Back to School picnic at Sun Valley Park on Friday, August 19, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Bring the whole family and something to share. For those who want to be extra COVID conscious, feel free to bring your own food and take part in the meet and greet (outside). Come (re)connect with our SV community! Kids, parents, and dogs all welcome.

high five We hit capacity for this year’s Glow Golf event and raised over $1,600 that will go to school improvements for the kids. This year, the money we’ve raised will help build a sandbox in the kinderyard, and we have other projects we’re looking to tackle as time and resources allow.

We can’t give back without the support of this fantastic community. We appreciate everyone’s support and are very much looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday.

A big thanks to George Nolan and Jim Rubin for organizing this year’s event!
