Dads Club Campout 2024 at Olema

Hello, Campers!

Come join us from Friday to Sunday, May 17–19 at Olema Campground for another weekend of fun! This event is not to be missed!

Buy a ticket now!

What to Bring

Bring everything you need to be self-sufficient. Saturday dinner will be provided—we’re working on the menu. Friday night, you’re on your own!

Forecast-wise: during the day, there’s not much shade, so hats, sunscreen, and shade structures are recommended. At night, it can get chilly.

Firewood: Please bring some firewood, newspaper, and/or kindling if you have some laying around.

How to Get There

We’ll be at Olema Campground (here’s a map) in sites 402-406 and 411-420. The welcome wagon arrives around 4:30 p.m. Friday. Plan to arrive any time after that. Spots will be first come, first served.

See the campground’s website for more info. We’ll also post updates to the event page on our site.

Questions?

Send us an email if you need more information, or call Chris at 626-222-8432.

April 2023 UPDATE!

We uncovered the wood on March 31 so it can finally dry. We are looking for a new project foreman. We also need help with:

  • Cleanup of tools, wood, and tarps
  • Finishing carpentry (90% done)
  • Sanding and wiping
  • Oiling: we’ll need to do this three separate times
  • Procuring/donating: landscape cloth, staple gun in place
  • Procuring/donating: sand (and set delivery date)
  • Filling box (and two sand tables outside kindergarten back door): more hands make less work. Date based on delivery.

If you can help AT ALL, please email dads@sunvalleydads.com.

Thanks for all the help!! Continue reading
