Hey, Campers!
Join us Friday–Sunday, May 29–31 for another epic weekend of outdoor fun with the kids at Olema Campground. If you’ve joined before, you know the drill. If you’re new — this is one of the best weekends of the year. You won’t want to miss it!

Food Plan
Please plan to be self-sufficient for most meals and bring your own camping essentials.
Provided by the Dads Club:
- Saturday dinner (Menu coming soon — think hot dogs and crowd-pleasers)
- S’mores 🍫🔥
On Your Own:
- Friday dinner
- Saturday lunch
- Saturday breakfast
- Sunday breakfast
The campsite has barrel fire pits, so bring kindling and firewood.
Activities
This is a relaxed, free-flowing, no-agenda kind of weekend. People naturally form groups and head out on adventures like:
- Hearts Desire Beach
- Point Reyes
- Tomales Bay
Some dads in past years have organized things like:
- Capture the Flag
- Arts & crafts
- Pickup games
- Campfire hangouts
If you’d like to organize an activity, bring it up at the next meeting or reach out. The more the merrier.
Weather & Packing Tips
Sun Protection:
The 400-loop campsites have very limited shade. Bring hats, sunscreen, and consider a pop-up canopy if you have one.
Cold Nights:
Even if the forecast looks warm, nights can dip into the low 40s. Pack layers, warm sleeping gear, and extra blankets just in case.
New to Camping?
Don’t stress.
If you’re new to camping and feeling unsure about logistics, you’re not alone. This is a supportive group — we help each other out. Forgot something? Need help setting up? Someone’s got you covered.
It’s going to be a great weekend.
